    if you want to use my art as an icon or in an edit or something of the sort then youre definitely welcome to as long as you give proper credit (eg. art by bowlcutcat on twt). basically youre good w using it as long as youre not profiting off of it or claiming it as your own    art resources

    previously i did recommend buying csp, however given this new notice i cannot in good faith recommend buying it. to summarize, they will no longer be adding features to ver 1.x. to access 2.x you will need to rebuy it and from there, to access updates to 2.x, you are forced to buy this subscription. details on pricing are currently unknown but WOW that is an awful decision. i would recommend pirating csp at this point however im not familiar with how, please do your own research. if you want somewhere to start im sure r/piracy has some info on the topic.
    if you are new to digital art and not wanting to spend money then medibang paint is probably good!! before getting csp i used firealpaca for several years. firealpaca and medibang are very similar but medibang (from what i can tell) has cloud features where firealpaca doesnt    at the moment, im not sure what other paid program to recommend in place of it. ive heard paint tool sai is good and also a one time purchase however i have no familiarity with it so i cant provide my own thoughts and opinions on it. research things before buying to see if they fit your needsclip studio paint | medibang paint | paint tool saitablets
    i currently use a wacom intuos pro! i personally prefer drawing without a screen although it does require more hand eye coordination it isnt too hard to adjust to. i also enjoy having tilt support in it however, for beginners when youre unsure if its something youll stick to id probably recommend just a regular small wacom intuos, i worked with it for 4 years before getting my current one! for cheaper alternatives ive heard huion is good but since i have no experience with it i cant speak on it myself. having a drawing tablet is almost essential for digital art as you cant get proper pen pressure with a trackpad, mouse or finger. although lack of pen pressure can be attributed to a style thing so its not absolutely 10000% necessary i just think its good to have. its possible to emulate the appearance of having pen pressure without actually having it however thats kind of inconvenient and takes a while. lots of artist prefer using drawing tablets with screens on them!! ive never tried one but im doing fine with what ive currently got, ones with screens are a lot more expensive too. please do more indepth research on the different brands and models to figure out what would work best for you and your budget    wacom | huionmisc
    the other resource ive only started using is magic poser!! its been super helpful, it might be confusing to navigate for those completely unfamiliar with 3D areas.. theres several model options and preset poses with, of course, freedom to edit them as well as lots of hand poses!! it is primarily a mobile software however it has a lite web version which is what ive been using. it is completely free to use (as far as im aware.. ive never installed the mobile version so.)    web ver | app store | google playif you have any questions about anything then lmk!!
